Our Story

Every collection tells a story. 

Rrina’s Keeper was founded in 2016 in Christchurch, New Zealand, originally as Sunflower Candles. What began as a passion for creating beautiful handcrafted candles has, over the years, evolved into something far more meaningful.

Today, proudly based in Melbourne, Australia, Rrina’s Keeper has grown into a lifestyle brand that celebrates beauty, heritage, and the legacy of our loved ones that continues to inspire us.

From luxurious home fragrances and jewellery to accessories, each collection is created with intention and designed to be cherished.

At the heart of our brand is our namesake, Lorrina “Rrina” Epati (pronounced Ree-nah), my beloved baby sister. 

Lorrina was only 26 years old when she unexpectedly passed away in 2019. She was vibrant, full of life, and brought light wherever she went. Her loss changed our family forever.

The name Keeper represents a guardian, protector, and someone who holds close what matters most. As the youngest of six siblings, Lorrina was deeply loved and protected by our family. Although she is no longer with us, her memory remains at the heart of everything we create.

Rrina’s Keeper exists so that her light continues to shine. 

Each collection carries a deeper meaning. Many are named in honour of the remarkable people within our family and friends, celebrating their beauty, strength, resilience, and the stories they leave behind.

These names are more than just collections—they are living tributes, preserving memories that deserve to be remembered for generations.
